Bureau Staff: Robin Harrison
Acting Director and Senior Manager, Special Projects
Robin Harrison is the Senior Manager for Special Projects and currently serves as the acting director of the NAACP Hollywood Bureau.
In this role, she is responsible for multiple aspects of the Bureau’s entertainment industry advocacy—from meeting with networks and studio heads to evaluate hiring practices in front of and behind the camera, to developing programs and initiatives to broaden the pool of emerging diverse talent in the entertainment industry. Ms. Harrison is also responsible for producing the events related to the NAACP Image Awards and the management of the program’s Submissions process.
Prior to joining the NAACP, she served as a Senior Account Executive with Washington, D.C.-based public relations agency The Caraway Group, Inc.
She executed multi-channel communications campaigns for The Caraway Group clients across such diverse industries as technology, gaming and hospitality, entertainment, and fine arts. Ms. Harrison also oversaw the implementation of multi-million dollar strategic plans for crisis communications, community and media relations campaigns.
