The 13th Annual NAACP Hollywood Bureau Symposium is set for Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the Museum of Tolerance in Los Angeles, California.
Presented by Ford, the event is moderated by Shaun Robinson, NAACP President/CEO Cornell William Brooks and David White, National Executive Director of SAG/AFTRA. This 13th installment focuses on “A Conversation: Power and Progress,” a theme which builds on 2016’s discussion on “Pictures, Power and Progress and discuss the pathways to inclusion from a different perspective—that of our Guild partners.
The panel will explore the issues of diversity and inclusion in the entertainment industry with members of the guilds — DGA, WGAw,PGA, and SAG/AFTRA. They will explain what they are doing to address the issues on a local, national and global scale.
